Efratgo Ltd. is devoted to identifying and advancing treatment of clinical problems related to musculoskeletal trauma and/or disorders by the development of new technologies to address these issues. Efratgo Ltd. manufactures sophisticated implants and surgical tools for orthopaedic fracture fixation. These tools are primarily for the fixation of fractures of 3rd age (senior) patients with osteoporosis, using minimally invasive techniques.
Efratgo Ltd. was founded in 1993 by Dr. Y. Gotfried, an orthopaedic surgeon, and is today a family company, located in Kiryat Motzkin , Israel . Our product development team comprises physicians, engineers and product managers who identify the clinical needs and respond by developing high-quality products for the benefit of patients and surgeons.
Our products address about 50-60% of the hip fracture market. We implement our unique technology, STABLE DYNAMIC™ fixation to treat these fractures with an intramedullary nail, called the PH Nail (physiological hip nail). No other device currently available on the market is as biomechanically-compliant as our nail. The product is FDA, CE and CMDCAS approved.
Our vision is to develop new technologies to advance surgical treatment of musculoskeletal trauma/disorders based on minimally invasive techniques, to manufacture new, high quality, implants and instruments based on our novel technology platform.
