The HipUp™ is used to reduce posterior sagging in hip fractures and in fractures of the upper third of the femur, and to maintain the reduction during the surgical procedure. The Hip Up™ is placed beneath the patient's hip or femur. Reduction is carried out gradually and very precisely. The radiolucent limb support of the HipUp™ facilitates fracture visualization. The HipUp™ is designed to enable fracture reduction without obstructing the C-arm of the image intensifier and is compatible with most standard fracture tables.
